Hi, I'm yyoungstar.
対訳ブログを始めて早くも二週間が経過しました。
It takes two month from I started this blog.
そこで今日は対訳ブログを始めて思ったこと、悩み、これからどうしていきたいか、などを書き連ねていこうと思います。
So, today, I'm gonna write about my thoughts for this blog.
対訳ブログは面倒臭い
The parallel translation blog is hard.
内容やクオリティにこだわらないと決めたので、文章を書くこと自体は非常に楽。ただ英語に訳すのが面倒。読んでいればわかると思いますが、ところどころいい加減な英訳がある。しかたないよね。めんどうくさいもん。
I can write entries easily because I decided not to stick to contents and qualities. But, It is bother to translate.
逆に内容とかクオリティにこだわると英語まで手が回らない。めんどうくささが倍になるからね。
I can't write English if I stick to contents and quality. What I do would be doubled.

これとかがいい例。
This is a good example.
タイトルや見出しが長くなってカッコ悪い。
It's not smart that titles are longer.
これが最近の悩み。twitterとかでシェアするときにタイトルが長すぎる。
上にある見出しも普通の倍になってるし。
もっとシンプルにしなくちゃいけないなって思ってる。
The title above is doubled for original.
これは思ったより難しい。内容を表してかつキャッチーでシンプルなもの。むずかしい。
It is more difficult than I thought.
直訳しようとしてはいけない。
Don't translate literally.
これはすごく大事。直訳しようとすると必ず詰まる。
This is very important. You can't write up if you try translate literally.
英作文の基本だったりもするけど、ニュアンスを損なうことなく別の日本語に変換してから英語にする。そういったプロセスを踏むことが重要だ。
It is the foundation of English-writing. We should transform the sentences to different Japanese without lost what we wanna write before translate to English. It is important to follow such the procedure.
知ってる単語、知ってる表現が限られてる場合は特に大事。
Especially our words and expressions are limited.
需要がない。
No demand.
素人が書くブログに需要なんてねえか。ごめん。ぼくがわるかった。
googleで「対訳ブログ」で検索しても、僕のような形式で書いているブログはひとつもない。需要がないからかもしれない。
ちなみに、僕のブログも引っかからない。

Ofcourse blogs written by amature (me) are not demanded.
When I googled the words "parallel translation blog", no hits. It is because such a blog is not demanded.
My blog is ofcourse not hitted.

もっと正しい英語を使ってスマートに書きたい
I wanna write smartly this blog in correct English.
英語の文章をしっかり読みつつ、このブログを書き続ければ、達成できるはず。
I can achieve it, reading the English and writing entries on my blog.
正直、英語の勉強になります。今の時代は調べればなんでもでてくる。調べたことを使う。この、インプットからのアウトプットへのプロセスを続けることは非常に勉強になる。
みなさんもたまにやってみてはいかがか。
Honestly, this blog is for my English study. We can search everything we want this age. I do use what I searched. We can learn keep doing such a process "input" to "output".
